It's a new year! I managed to gain 4. 2 pounds since Thanksgiving. It was a lot harder for me than I imagined it would be. I did a lot of baking for my family. We had several Christmas dinners. Then the week after Christmas, my husband spent 3 days in hospitals. I was not happy to gain, but I was very thankful it was only 4.2 pounds. I continued to go to my meetings and only missed one during the week of the hospitalization. I really believe it helped to have that support each week, even though I was not tracking.
I have two other friends attending my weight watchers meetings with me. I found out this week that I do look forward to my meetings. It is nice to have that support and encouragement just to attend the meetings!
My biggest ally in the first 25 pounds of my weight removal was exercise, mainly walking. I walked outdoors. The weather has really put a damper on my exercise. I miss the cool Fall days that I could walk in the outdoors for hours! I have been praying for God to show me the best way to get my exercise in during the cold winter months.
Back to tracking this week.

Just think--We are already into the middle of January. Spring will be here in a few short months. I am going to look for those exercise tapes this weekend.
